Workers install a groundwater monitoring wellThis site is a former dry cleaner that used PCE. A prior site assessment at the property indicated that PCE had been released. dse performed an extensive assessment of the affected soil and groundwater that included the installation of 18 groundwater monitoring wells located both on-site and off-site. dse prepared and submitted the APAR to the TCEQ and performed extensive quarterly groundwater sampling using low-flow techniques. The sampling results enabled dse to design a monitored natural attenuation program for the site. A PMZ was designed and proposed based on the results of groundwater modeling performed by dse.
